Well. It may be worth taking a look...

[OOC]

As the IC explanation above says, we are starting a Memento Eden Newspaper. Said newspaper will be a joint IC/OOC venture, offering money and memories/items as rewards. Participation is optional, and will, in fact, require signing up.

Explanations are listed below. Please feel free to ask questions. (Note: Information with * next to them is what's available to the characters, should they go to city hall to inquire about the newspaper.)

Dates and Such:

-The newspapers will come out bi-monthly, on the first of each month, for the following two months' issues. (Explained in an example below.) *
-The due date for contributions will always be the 15th of each month prior to the newspaper coming out, at 11:59 PM EST. (Explained in an example below.) *
-The articles are to be e-mailed/sent/etc to Ari-mod.
-Explanation/example: The first newspaper to come out will be the January/February, 2009 issue. It will be coming out on December 1st, 2008. The articles and such are due by November 15th, 2008. *
-(Note: Depending on people's schedules and timeframes, we will try for 2-months for the first issue. If the deadline is still too tight, we will make it quarterly (every 3 months) instead.)

Sign-Up Slots:

-A limited number of contribution slots will be available for each issue. They're available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and you're required to sign up to claim one. *
-Each person [read: character] may only sign up for one slot per issue. *
-No one may sign up for the same slot in consecutive issues. *
-If you do not make the deadline for your issue, you may not sign up for the next one at all. *
-Please don't sign up with a character that you think you might drop before the deadline.
-If a character does get dropped before the deadline, the slot will be opened up.

Content:
-You may write about any content you want, provided it is in some ways related to Memento Eden, and is suitable for a general audience. *
-You may interview anyone you wish, provided you have his or her consent. Please make appointments if you need to see some of the more important officials. *
-In other words, you guys can interview all the NPCs. For the mod NPCs, please speak to the moderator controlling him or her; it is his or her discretion whether he or she wants to answer your questions. (Most of them will likely be too busy.) For the rest of the NPCs, please speak to Ari. Some NPCs, like the Memory Keepers and Memento and Eden, might not be available except in special circumstances. Other NPCs, like Leo, might be away for long periods of time.
-As far as general NPCs go, you can make stuff up (within reason).
-To interview a player-controlled character, you would, of course, need to ask the RPer for that character.
-If someone does not wish to be interviewed or has no time or such, please let it be, and do not hound them.
-Ari will, of course, review all the content before putting them into a neat little newspaper format. Anything grossly inappropriate will be returned, and you will not get credit for it. I mean, not that you have to be stuffy and boring. But. Y'know. Use common sense and such. If you're not sure whether or not something would be okay, feel free to ask Ari.
-Content will be divided into Q&A columns, articles, reviews, celeb interviews, letters, comics, photos, and puzzles/games/etc. The actual divisions will be listed below in the sign-up section. *
-Contributions must be in-character.
