After Yomiko finished her shift at the library, she exited the building to await Jr.'s arrival. She was excited and a little bit anxious to begin their little experiment. She honestly wasn't sure if she'd manage to be able to stop bullets with her paper mastery, but it was certainly something worth trying!
She decided to warm up with a few simple exercises she'd developed while she waited to channel her nervous energy. She pulled a few pieces of the paper she'd collected from the library out of her pocket, then dropped them from her hand and willed them to float up again before they hit the ground. Smiling, she lifted her hands up and down, and the paper followed her example, rising and falling as she bid. It was a simple practice, but a firm grasp of the basics never hurt right? She rolled her hands over and under each other and the paper changed course and moved around her, circling around her back and returning to her front in an endless loop. She grinned, pleased. Even though she knew it was her will moving the paper as she wished, to Yomiko, it somehow seemed like the paper was dancing around her. It was a thought that made her feel warm inside.
