Who: Raven and Terra What: Raven's been hiding something. Terra wants to find out what. Where: The park When: July 7, late/post-ball. Warnings: Spoilers for Tales of Vesperia.
As nervous as crowds made her, Terra had eventually braved the many people gathered in the park in order to find her other friends. She enjoyed spending time with Raven, of course, but it wouldn't do to smother him. Besides, she was sure that he'd want to find other people that he knew as well. So when they each went their separate ways, she didn't think much of it.
It wasn't until things began to calm down that she realized she hadn't seen him for a while, so she went off in search of her date. She soon found him asleep against a tree, to her quiet amusement. For all his energy, he certainly did seem to tire out quickly.
That didn't look very comfortable, though. She walked toward him, intending on waking him so that he could go home... and then realized that this could be the perfect chance to see what he was hiding on his chest.
He really seemed to be out of it. In fact, he was starting to lean to the side...
She knew she shouldn't be sneaky. It wasn't right. It had become clear that Raven would never give her a straight answer, though, and she knew she had felt a lump on his chest that day that he had caught her. Curiosity had been eating away at her, and this chance was too good to pass up.
Moving slowly and carefully so she wouldn't disturb him, she knelt down next to him. With a great deal of patience, she gently moved the fabric of his kimono away from his chest.
The first thing that was visible was a metallic spiral pattern branching off from something. As the fabric continued to move, the spiral was attached to a larger metal recess. Finally, the yukata was pulled out of the way to reveal a red blastia about the size of a fist in the recess, jutting out a few inches just over where his heart was - or should be. It gave off its own dull light, enough that it didn't glow through the fabric of his clothing.

Instead, he was beginning to lean to the left; if he continued, he'd probably fall on his side.
