As is common on the island, a festival had sprung up overnight. All down the town's main street and into the park, festive decorations have been set up, and performers line the road. Some juggling acts, some musicians playing folksongs ... a single sword eater in the park attracts a particularly large crowd. Within the park itself, delicious odors waft and mingle, hinting at vendors of traditional spiced meats.
There is a suspicious lack of alcohol present. A single large building with the icon of a mug of beer above its doorway takes up almost half the park, but its windows are boarded and the door locked. Quiet and dark, not a single flash of movement can been seen inside it.
