Emil understood the idea of weird things happening. Here, at least, those were usually supposed to be good in the long run even if they weren't very enjoyable. People got memories from them, anyway. Still, this didn't really compare to the last event Emil had been around for. That one had been a sudden festival that had sprung up overnight and lasted a few weeks. This was strange on a whole new level.
He tugged uncomfortably at the sleeves of the costume he wore. He'd gotten unlucky this time. Emil had seen a few people wearing relatively normal clothes, but here he was walking around with a lion costume. If he was going to be forced to go around in anything, couldn't it have been something that made a little more sense? He saw some other costumes like his own, but that knowledge didn't change the fact that it got hot indoors with the lion outfit on. Even most of his face was covered up by this thing. He hoped the whole thing would be over with soon, or else--
"Ah!"
Emil hadn't even seen whatever, or whoever, he'd crashed into before the impact.
