Who: Kurai, Nall, and anyone else that wants to watch/laugh at them/participate What: A flying contest. Where: In the woods. When: Backlogged: October 23rd. Warnings: Destruction may occur?
Nall arrived at the designated location in human form, wanting to conserve the strength in his wings for the actual competition. He had his game face on, absolutely prepared for the challenge. Since arriving in Memento Eden, he'd participated in a number of games courtesy of Rika's game club... and he'd lost every single one. He was determined to win this contest. Darn it, he was due a victory, wasn't he?
"Hey, Kurai," he greeted his friend/competitor casually upon arrival. "You ready for this?"
"Took you long enough," Kurai grinned, already tasting sweet victory. "I told you before. I'm ready anytime. Just say a word."
She spoke the truth, the little demon was prepared to fly.
"Better switch forms, Kitty. I won't wait up," mocking him might not have been the greatest idea, but she wanted to rile him up and make the competition even more interesting. Kurai didn't see the branches as such obstacles and this time she wasn't drunk enough to crash.
"Anything else you wanna add or is this entertaining enough for you?" Kurai asked while looking around herself. Flying seemed like the easy part to her, but the branches and the forest wildlife could become problematic.
Nall chuckled. "That eager to let me draw on your face? I promise, I'll make it something special."
He decided to review the rules before changing forms, if only because his high pitched voice in the other form was not something he particularly enjoyed. "First person to reach the end of the forest is the winner. Instant disqualification if you fly below 15 feet. Not much challenge if you fly along the ground under the obstacles, after all. But when you smack into another branch, if you fall, you can get back up and try again, ok? Sound good to you?"
"Who said it's my face that will get drawn on?" Kurai asked challengingly, offended by the mere thought of suffering defeat. The idea of new decorations on her face was not all that appalling, only the thought of losing was. This time she refused to go down as easily as the last time.
She listened to Nall and thought about the new additions to the challenge. "Sounds fine to me. If you get caught in something- don't call out. I won't be coming to the rescue," overly confident Kurai grinned devilishly. That wasn't completely true. She might have been a demon, but she wasn't heartless.
