Lloyd had been wandering the stables looking for Noishe, his pet "not-quite-dog", but there seemed to be no trace of the furry horse-sized Protozoan anywhere. He must have disappeared when Kratos did. That was too bad.

Thinking he heard someone speaking, Lloyd turned his head and glanced down the stable aisle. Sure enough, there was some guy he hadn't met before. It never hurt to be friendly, and he figured this person must be new. Why else would someone be talking to himself in a panic?

The red-clad swordsman grinned and made his way over to Arnold, "Hey! You said your name's Arnold, right? I'm Lloyd. Good to meet you!"

The brunet smiled in a friendly manner and extended a gloved hand to shake. He seemed pretty laid-back and not at all worried, as if he had all the time in the world.

Arnold took the offered hand, his smile small and worried. "Nice to meet you, too, Lloyd."

The guy looked so at ease, that it made him feel that everything was going to be all right. He slowly relaxed though the concerned look stayed on his face. After all, it wasn't every day you lost your memory. Or, at least, Arnold was pretty sure it wasn't every day that you lost your memory.

He wasn't sure how to approach the subject of amnesia with this guy, so he settled for the next best thing:

"Where are we?"

Lloyd shook Arnold's hand firmly, then let it go. Lloyd wasn't exactly a genius, but he could tell that Arnold was still concerned. That was no good.

"Don't you know? We're in a stable," the brunet replied automatically. After a moment he laughed, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment, "Oh right, you didn't mean this 'where'. Sorry!

Actually, you're on an island... er... somewhere-or-other. They call it 'Memento Eden'. Pretty long, fancy name for something like this, huh? But everyone's friendly, and there's plenty of stuff to do around here. Oh, and the food's totally free! All you can eat. Not so bad, considering."

Clearly Lloyd was either an idiot or he wasn't about to mention the whole amnesia thing just yet.

"That's great."

His brow furrowed. Memento Eden? Had he ever been to this place before? Had he even heard of it before?

After Lloyd finished explaining the food situation, Arnold asked, "So they also have doctors here, right?"

Maybe this guy was a native? Wait. He'd said "they call it". Arnold didn't remember why, but he knew on some level that he tried to pay attention to the words of those around him.
