Two, two trick-or-treaters. WTF? It shouldn't be this hard to give away free candy! Is anyone having a better turn-out this year?

I should probably go home from work and find out. I was thinking about giving out kittens.

We had about a dozen. That's the best in years.

In Middleton (Hubbard Ave), we had a good turnout, but fewer than some years, it seems. We didn't keep count, but it dropped off a lot by 8:00. Maybe 80 kids or so? (Last year we did keep count and it was around 120).

We have a lot of teens in our neighborhood, so we tend to see few young TOTers and sometimes late older ones. Last year we had very few, period. But there were a lot more young ones this year, and almost no high schoolers, which was surprising. Maybe because of the warmer/dry weather and that it was a Friday night.

We still have a lot of leftover candy, tho'. Looks like pookah's coworkers will be (happily) on a sugar high next week!
