I like Final Fantasy 7. I like Alice Cooper. I even really like the Hey Stoopid album.

...but the idea of combining them really never occurred to me.

(It's actually pretty well done for what it is, but... why...?)

That's what's so fascinating about it: it's just good enough that I can't just dismiss the author as an idiot. Some level of fairly complex thought went into this. I'm half-convinced it's one of the most subtly brilliant trolls I've ever come across.

That's...actually pretty sweet! The song's perfect. And I've actually read that fic before! I agree, I almost gave up first few chapters in, but I stuck with it and it kinda grew on me...in a twisted, why-the-fuck-am-I-still-reading-this-what-are-you-doing-to-my-characters-and-why-do-I-like-it kinda way...

Indeed. The scene where Tifa and Vincent tenderly reconfirm their love for one another is a shining example--nay, the very pinnacle of the storyteller's art. We could all stand to take a lesson from Ms. Rice.
