APPEARANCE: Axel is tall, about 6’6”, with red hair that rivals a fire truck and that sticks out in terrifyingly pointy spikes. His eyes are acid green, emphasized by red eyeliner and dark, upside-down teardrop tattoos on his cheeks. His shoulders are as broad as his waist is tiny. Really, any woman would envy his figure; he has the perfect hourglass shape. His features are sharp, mostly due to the fact that he has no fat on his bones, only skin and muscle. His lean frame is always found inside his long, black, leather Organization coat. He also wears black gloves, boots and pants and is never seen in anything else (besides when he’s Lea, but let’s not get into that).
PERSONALITY & HOUSE REQUESTS: At his core, Axel is a Gryffindor. His Somebody, Lea, was the definition of what a Gryffindor is, he is a perversion of it only in that he has no heart. A Gryffindor is Brave, Daring, Courageous, Chivalrous and Self-sacrificing. Lea was a friendly kid who has no qualms about breaking into the Castle in Radiant Gardens with his best friend, Isa, to try and find out what Ansem and his assistants are after.
Axel shows another Gryffindor quality: selflessness, in that he dies to save his best friend. He spent the entirety of Kingdom Hearts II trying to steal Sora's heart so he could get Roxas back, but in the end he realizes that Sora is more important to far more people than Roxas is to him. Getting Roxas back would only help him, whereas Sora could help the worlds.
His daring goes probably the farthest out of his other Gryffindor traits. He doesn't care about bending the rules, he'll get himself in so far that it could end in his death if he doesn't work it right. He abandoned the Organization even after telling Roxas that they'd destroy him if he left. He’s daring, he doesn’t care about breaking rules as long as he gets something out of it. He looks for adventure and thrives when he has a task to do which he can finish in anyway he sees fit.
He could be said to be brave, though he would disagree. He faces a lot, but it's never really for the greater good. He doesn't stand up to the Organization, whose ideals he doesn't agree with, not really, until his reason for staying with them leaves. He isn't brave in an overt way, really, he runs away, under the radar, trying to avoid being turned into a Dusk. He's brave, but he's not stupid, and he would never put his own well being on the line for anyone but Xion and Roxas. He kills his peers in Castle Oblivion, but he can't bring himself to choose between Roxas and Xion, nor to kill either of them when he's supposed to.
Chivalry is a little less present in him. Or, a lot less. He's more of a lone wolf in that way, he doesn't really think that women should deserve special treatment, and isn't really especially courteous to anyone, even if he sounds it at times usually it's dripping with sarcasm since, really, he's a Nobody. They aren't really a very honorable race. Axel’s main motivation throughout the games, though it changes, is his friends, and that's about as far as any "chivalry" in him extends. In Days, when Xion, his other best friend, runs away he tells her “you can keep running, but I’ll always be there to bring you back!” He wants to keep Xion and Roxas safe, playing the role of mentor, big brother and best friend to both of them, even though his memories of Xion are erased. He loves them though he shouldn’t be able to, and cares more deeply for them than he has about anything else.
His heartlessness takes away from how much he can embody any of these traits. He can't feel, not without Roxas' heart stirring up emotions in him that he hasn't felt in years, and this leads to his morals being very different from most people's. He isn't for the greater good, but he is for his friends, until the very end. Xion gives herself up for Sora, Roxas is about to do the same when Riku takes that choice from him, and Axel joins them, dying to protect Sora from a horde of Dusks.
A part of Axel that could put him in Hufflepuff is his patience. He teaches Roxas nearly everything he knows and deals with him being a “zombie” through the first few months of their friendship. Though, this could be due to the fact that he feels something around Roxas, though at first he can’t place it. He’s interested in him, intrigued. It’s only in Castle Oblivion, in the midst of causing half of the Organization to perish, that he says “you guys really are something! I’m enjoying myself!” thus referencing Sora and Roxas (Sora is Roxas’ Somebody, and since he still retained his original form, Roxas shares his heart, though not completely).
Axel could be a Hufflepuff in that he's patient, he's hard working, when he wants to be (though his favorite activity is napping. One day they get a day off of work and Axel says that he's going to nap, turn over, and continue napping), he's loyal, to a point. His loyalty only lasts as long as it's beneficial to him, and he'll only work hard if it's on his terms, but he will see something through to the end. If there are no loose ends, there's no one to say what he did.
COMMUTER DETAILS: Axel won’t be aligning with Voldemort and thus his commuter won’t be tapped.
POSITION: 6th year student
ORIENTATION: I’d rather not put one on him, so call him bisexual if you will. Canon only points to him disliking women, but has no reference to anything sexual (it’s Disney, come on). Canonly, he calls women complicated and shies away from their touch (though that could just have been Larxene).
ABILITIES & POWERS: Axel is strong; he never uses his full potential in canon until he brings about his own death. He has a proficiency for fire, and is very skilled with projectile weapons. He can also use other spells such as Blizzard, Thunder, Cure and Aero. Physically, he can hold his own, but he’s not the type to get into a violent situation without knowing that he has the upper hand. That’s why he holds back; and even without using his full potential, he can usually win, though it might be by cheating.
At Hogwarts, Axel will find that he has a proficiency for charms, elemental ones, especially fire spells, as well as summoning and banishing. He'll be pretty good at potions when he wants to be, since he can concentrate and has a good feel for that kind of thing, but he'd get bored pretty easily. He'll be okay at Transfiguration, but he doesn't get the point of it. Defense at the Dark Arts, he'll find challenging since he'll have a greater proficiency for the actual dark arts, seeing as he's made of darkness.
WAND: Cedar, dragon heart-string, 12 and a half inches, flexible, good for Charms
MISC.: I'm pretty dead set on him being in Gryffindor, and if you'd like me to clarify anything that makes you unsure that I've made the right choice for him, please just ask me! He's morally ambiguous and heartless, which makes this more difficult.

FIRST PERSON
[The commuter is turned on almost accidentally, acid green eyes with dark tattoos under them scrutinizing the feed] First a greeting card then a tiny computer? Who knew hell was so hospitable, and complimentary. Don’t call me a righteous hero, Albus Dumbledore. You’ve got some explaining to do. If you’re even listening to this...
Heh, whatever. This is dumb, talking to myself... [He looks it over, searching for the off button before hitting it]
THIRD PERSON
Axel laid back on the couch in the red bedecked common room, his calves dangling over the armrest, his hand behind his head. He stared at the ceiling, thinking. By all rights, he should be dead. He’d felt it, his life falling away from him, or more him falling away from his life, the bits of darkness floating up from his body. The last face he’d seen, the last voice he’d heard... it was so close to his best friend’s, yet not... right. Not what he wanted to hear.
Now, he was sure he’d never hear it again, neither of them, until Sora died somehow and came here-- to Hogwarts. Pretty poor choice of a name, he thought. At least Xemnas’ had made sense, even if they were a little melodramatic. It was like he’d wanted to shove their Nobody-ness in their faces, to remind them of it every day.
The green-inked letter he’d woken up to had called him an “honorable and righteous hero”. He was no hero, just a guy whose whole life had fallen out from under him. And apparently his lot in the afterlife was to have to live again, something he never wanted to do again.
Why can’t I just fade away like I’m supposed to?
He shoved himself up, sitting with his elbows on his knees, head in his hands. He wasn’t supposed to be alive. He should be dead, long gone, six feet under, but really he should just be what he came from: the darkness. Nothingness. Whisps of black that connect the dark side of the hearts of worlds. That was all he felt he should be, after all. But, at usual, someone else had a different plan for him. Now just to make the best of it. Hell, maybe this was his second life already, maybe he did get one...
Too bad that meant he had to remember the last one.
