[memory_fixer]

[Namine is peeking out from her treepod. The coast is clear, so she picks up the PCD, and the metal watering can she found. Going down the stairs and heading for Beyond's former household, she doesn't notice the rabbits following her until they lunge at her. With a startled yelp, she dodges them, and lands on the PCD, turning on the camera.

Why not? Did they not just try to attack you? Self-defense is a viable reason to kill something you know.

But...I didn't want to kill them, just keep them away from me.

Sometimes things happen out with our control. If you hadn't killed them, they would have killed you.

You want to do something for them? Put them to good use. Then they won't have died in vain.

O-okay. [since she's not far from the house anyway, she just heads inside, setting the watering can outside the door.]

Hey. You didn't do anything wrong. They'd of hurt you if you hadn't hurt them. But it's okay to feel bad, and do something for them later. Okay? I'll help.

[Where does this gentleness come from with her? He has no idea. But he hates hearing her sound sad.]

I didn't mean to kill them, though. I thought they'd just be stunned for a little bit.

[Still a bit battered around the edges, Lee's leaning back against a headboard. His expression is a bit worried, and he's quiet for a good bit before responding, trying to think of how to help.]

I know that the rabbits look friendly, but they will hurt you if they are given a chance. You had to protect yourself.

That's what everyone keeps telling me. I didn't mean to kill them, I just wanted to stun them for a little while.

I understand. But if you had not killed them, they would have attacked someone else later on. And that person might not have been able to defend themselves, the way that you could.

You can also use the rabbits for food, so that their deaths will not be a waste.

[His nose scrunches up a bit at that question.] I am fine! I am more than ready to get back to training, but my teammates will not allow me to get out of bed until the medics say that I have healed...

I think I got lucky, at least. I don't think my watering can would've worked as well if it wasn't metal.

If you think you're fine, then couldn't you do some easy training while you heal?
