i've been missing in action for a while;
missing the discipline to document the
moment by moment action of my days.
here's a tribute to september-
i'd like to think my previous post put some of my friends in suspense (heavy delusion, i know). hence, let me reveal the identities of the muffin boy & P. i miss you boys. i absolutely cannot wait for our warped wednesday this week :)
this month has been unusually quiet & yet, crazy.
one very pleasant day, the boyf received an unpleasant text message from an unknown - 'why does she come over or call you..., ' messages were flying back & forth, & we realised that the person on the other end, was his ex girlfriend's boyfriend. the exchange went from pleasant to not so friendly.
the boyf - 'tell her to fuck off, because she has been pestering me. so if you need to clarify things, talk to her, not me. and i've been with my girlfriend for nearly a year after i broke up with MAGGIE. it's over, been over, for a very long time. if you need to, check her friendster, why on earth are my photos still there & why is her name still MAGGIE-AL?'
the call - THE EX - 'how can you say i'm pestering you?'
HER boyfriend - 'you want to fight ah, you (insert hokkien vulgarities). you don't let me see you, or else i SLAP you.'
since when did guys slap? well, we were laughing, and THE EX called AGAIN. i grabbed the phone, & it didn't go very well. once i heard her pathetic slang, i felt the anger rush to the top of my head, exploding through my nervous system. i couldn't help it. all the bottled up tension that had been left untouched, had now resurfaced. we really hope to see them down the street some day.
now, on to more pleasant things. i've stopped working part-time, but i might be engaged on a project basis. this internship has served me well, & i really need to thank the bosses & colleagues for such a great time! i know this won't be the last we see of one another but i'd really miss all of them. & i think it's best i leave now, because the school work really is piling up.
recently, i did attended an interview with boys like girls. funny guys, i must say. extremely humble, & quirky. too bad we couldn't interview the full band. there're many gigs coming to town - Ash, Motley Crue, Avenged Sevenfold, & the Taste of Chaos tour. i've also recently discovered a collective, The Enigmatic Army - a platform for asian music. hello beautiful;
my 2nd generation 16 GB ipod touch, landed in my hands on friday. ever since the loss of my ipod nano, i've been surviving on the mp3 player in my phone. THANK YOU KIM! who gave it to me free of charge, in conjunction with the education discount i used for her macbook pro. i paid $133 to upgrade it to 16GB, but it's definitely a worthy investment! i was hunting around for a casing to protect this baby, but the cases for the 2nd generation touch aren't ready yet. so i'd have to wait. meanwhile i'm really handling this beauty with utmost care, & it's time to rock out.
