Addendum to my last post : RIP little Mischa cat
I only had you for 3 months but I will miss you lots.
She was hit by a car yesterday and died instantly. I have not cried this much in years. She was so sweet and we all got attached to her quickly. We are all devastated.
At this point, after losing 2 cats in less than a year, I don't think I can face getting another, maybe ever. Only time will -

Still alive
Today, my car went weird just as I was leaving work. I went and got one of my coworkers for help. He did his degree in industrial maintenance, so he actually knows how a motor works. The battery light was on, but it sounded weird sort of smelled weird, so after he couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong other than the battery being practically ( Read more... ) -
Dogs and (almost) nekid men!
So, after four weeks of below freezing temperatures, we have now hit spring with a vengence. It is so warm that if I read outside over my lunch hour, it is too hot for the dogs to stay with me...poor things!
BTW, I never got around to posting the earliest pictures of the puppies!

Driving...
Drove myself to work today...hallelujah!
I jumped through all the hoops, cut through all the red tape...and I get to do it again in 6 months! For now, I'm just relieved.
First thing my boss says this morning? Great you can go get papers in Marseille...right...I haven't driven in 10 months...just throw me to the wolves, no problem.......I said no. -

Reason 7,000,012 I hate my boss...
So, like last year, my boss announced this spring that we were being imposed a month holiday from July 15th to August 15th...I don't necessarily like it, but ok. Last year I was miffed because he told us this AFTER I asked for a week off in June...so there went 5 weeks...
Anyway, today (48 hours before my vacation is to start) :
