Well, my parents have left on their annual pilgrimage to see all their grandchildren in Colorado, so I'll have the house to myself for the next 6 weeks. Well, except for weekends in February when my brother will be in and out (and hopefully feed me real food ( Read more... ) -
Snow Day - Take 2
So, still home. I still can't get the car as far as the gate, though our road is more or less clear now. It is very heavy wet snow and we are not equipped for snow removal. The temperature has hit a high of 3° celcius...some melting, but not a lot!

The good :
So, got back from a lovely (COLD) week in London. As is becoming our norm (twice in a row is a norm, right?), we failed to actually follow through with all the plans for New Years Eve...
We had reservations for a restaurant and tickets for a club , but after meeting a friend of my sister's at the restaurant, we had to go back to the flat ( Read more... ) -

Ok, feeling a bit better than last post since boss has promised bonus equal to 1 1/2 months salary on next paycheck, and has agreed to give it to me on Friday, since I don't work the week after (LONDON HERE I COME! SQUEEEE!!!). Unfortunately I've picked up a nasty cough just in time for Christmas...blech...
