Forty-six. Where is my mind?

May 10, 2005 09:29

I think I'm walking through life in a kind of a daze, dragged off to London without really paying attention, trotting back to LA without forethought, and my head always three steps ahead of the rest of me and wandering off like a sugar-loaded toddler who just slipped his mallwalking harness. I think that the people I talk to must be convinced I'm ( Read more... )

I can relate to every thing you've said here. If you want to repaint one or more of the rooms in the house, let me know. I'll be there to help you redecorate. Whatever you want to do, storm a castle, go on an adventure, talk until 3 in the morning over ice cream, I'll be there with you if you want company. I love you, Mena.

Love you, honey. Spa time, redecoration, and if I'm walking around in a daze, snap your fingers under my nose and wake me up. I'm sure I'll get back to reality sometime soon.

I feel like a complete ass because I didn't even realize you had me added. So, I've finally added you back. I'm sorry for the lateness and my flakiness as of late.

Don't be so hard on yourself and don't give up. ;)

Hello you.

Well, it goes both ways, you know? I recently added several people and forgot to comment.

What did I say? SPACE CASE. I'm hanging in there, though.

Hello yourself, though. Your face on my friendspage is worth smiling about.

Don't ever consider others that may second guess your moves or motives. Divorce and separation are major life changes and it will probably be a long time before you feel focused again. I'm happy your around, feel free to ramble and default anytime.

The reassurance is very much appreciated. It doesn't feel normal to me to be flaky, but I'm realizing -- boy, am I flaky lately. Maybe I'll ramble soon.

I think we all go through spinning head trips like you're going through, especially during times of interviews and promoting some up-coming film. I hate doing interviews that go any deeper than discussion of the movie itself, I don't like the personal questions involving my life or my career because I normally don't have the answers. Or at least, not the answers they were expecting to hear. Most of my answers don't go past a few general words just to get me to the next question so it can be all over sooner.

I hope your head clears and you stop the overthinking. I hope you're well.

I hate interviews myself. If it's not being misquoted, it's not having the answers, or not trusting the interviewer and having them get hostile, or...well, long story short, I'd rather have dental surgery.

I'm hoping there's light cutting through my fog. But despite that, I think I am well.
