Seventy-two. Aphrodite, don't forget me.

Right now, I am the cheerleader for everyone else's romance. I'm working on setting up friends with other friends and playing confidante for established relationships, watching happy people learn to fall in love with one another or to work out how to make their love last through troubles, and encouraging people to go on dates and risk their hearts ( Read more... )

Isn't more than three cats illegal?

Nah, it's just foolish. You need an extreme number of cats to properly make crazy-cat-woman. I think five is the baseline, but I like to excel.

This reminds me of the crazy cat lady from the Simpsons that would throw them at Lisa.

I was about to write this long rant I have in my head about what it's like to go for a long time just watching other people be in love. But your entry cured me, I don't feel like it anymore.

I'm thinking I'll crawl out of my anti-social corner and IM you.

I'm really thrilled, actually. Like I said, it's nice to know my selfpity is good for something. Plus, I get to hear from you again.

If you go the crazy old cat-lady route, give me a call in our dottering old age and I'll come over with extra cream. Since right now, I think I'm pretty firmly with you in the "blind terror" stage of things. Maybe even a few steps behind you. But hey, at least you're not alone?

Though I think it's a good sign you can live vicariously and take joy in other people finding their way through the mess.

Excuse me while I go take a cold shower at the thought of someone who's still kind to their copy of Strunk and White. Mmm. -HOT-.

I figure I'll be healed sometime before I'm old. You know. The rebound will hit when I'm fifty or something.

You and your grammar fetish.

It's comments like that that make me feel the creak in my bones. But hell, I suppose there's little to complain about if it (the healing, that is) comes at all, right?

...right?
