Finally... updateness!

Alright. I have officially proven that I'm extremely lazy by procrastinating over writing in my journal, for crying out loud! Is there a Procrastinator's Anonymous out there? Maybe someone could make a public annoucement about it in Pennsylvania... which would be a PA about PA in PA. Right, then, camp!

Okay, so, on Wednesday morning, I got up and because my parents were good enough to let me have the car (!) I went and picked up Scott at around 10. We all met up at Westdale, the church were we meet, so we could travel up in a convoy... I was lucky enough to be the last of four cars, but I only had to run one red light to keep up with everyone. I had time. Shut up. Then our lead car, with Andy and his mom driving, took a wrong turn out by Douro... we figured it out eventually, but then we took another wrong turn, though by this time I knew where I was, so I had Scott use our walky-talky and radio for them to stop and turn around, so we eventually made it to Brookwood.

It was at this point that we first perfected that patented Venturer activity of sitting around and doing absolutely nothing. And let me tell you, we are extremely good at it. ;) Actually, we did play this game called Hoopla, which is this weird sort of charades\pictionary\word\guessing game thing. Trying to get everyone to guess "Speedo" was certainly interesting... for that one, I had to use single word clues that all started with the same letter. Someone guessed it on, "tight", "terrifying" and "trunks"... :D

We stayed up until about 1 that night chatting about random things, which was cool. Oh, and we also played Manhunt before that, which I suck at when it, since I have the worst night vision in the world. Of course, in the morning, we were all tired as hell, but it's worth it... lol.

Not a lot happened on Thursday... we went for a hike\snowball fight, which was rather entertaining, and then came back and ate Andy's deformed corn dogs, which tasted better than they looked. Rachel had to leave for a doctor's appointment shortly after that, and so we sat around some... after I while, I left to go on a walk through the woods, just me. It was really nice... I found a path where the snow wasn't very deep, and wandered past a lot of animal tracks, looked like wolves, and rabbits, mainly. It was also a really nice time to just walk along and think... it's so silent and peaceful in the forest during winter... I love it. Eventually I had to turn around, though, as it was beginning to get dark, and I didn't take a flashlight with me. I probably could have gone for longer, but oh well... you can't have everything.

For the rest of Thursday, I managed to polish off the book Holes, which Rachel let me read, and it was suprisingly good, considering the age level it's aimed at is a fair bit younger than me. That evening, Scott had to leave... just before Rachel came back, actually... after that, we sat around somemore, told ghost stories, and ate a giant double-chocolate cookie. And Friday we left... it was such a great day for driving. There's something about being alone on a sun-drenched highway with the radio blaring tunes that just makes you feel happy.

Anyways, in short, it was a really fun camp... I really wish we could have gotten more together by this point, but what can you do, eh?

So, since then, not a lot has happened. I watched Paul McCartney's set during the half-time of the Super Bowl, and it was amazing. I would love to get a chance to see him live, though I doubt it'll ever happen. And then today was the start of Semester 2... I have Law, Canadian History, Data Management, and World History, though I might drop Law, since it seems the least interesting\necessary. Canadian History seems really cool... apparently, for the final project, I can use music to help illustrate the Canadian identity... :D

Oh, and I found out my final mark in English... 92%. I got 99% on the exam. 99. Freaking. Percent.

Signing out.
