I can tell you Starbucks is a pretty awesome part-time job, but they're basically going to hire based on your availability. I highly highly recommend stopping by early in the morning, late at night, and in the afternoon, to see what their "rushes" look like and how they are handled, before you commit to applying at a specific location. Also, if there are any rehab places nearby, the tips are going to best around there. :D
Yeah, I'm thinking Starbucks might be the best option for now. Even if I'm not too fond of the idea, I'm pretty much available anytime, but if I want to work for them, I'd probably see about it next week (after this weekend's inevitable partay).
Delivery jobs I think generally don't give insurance, and based on your plan, if you get in an accident while on the job you might not be covered! O.o Maybe you could check out some bookstores or restaurants or other coffee shops; places that won't get too crazy but hopefully other students overlook in their job searches.
I know Crissy had a horrible experience, so I can't completely recommend it; but my good friend Kristen works full time at Wal-mart and they treat her really well with very nice pay. Again, the wal-marts might be radically different in G-ville, so poke Crissy first I suppose ^^;
You could put on some drab clothes and work at Leo's. The bosses are eh, but the pay is decent and the booze discounts are phenomenal. Makes me miss my days at 706...

Free rentals ftw.
And stay the hell away from fast food and anything involving waiting on tables. People suck balls.
I did a call center for about a year. Hated the job, but the pay was good. And there's always the mute button if someone really pisses you off.
