It seems that I am going to be back in the States living here for good. The weird thing for me is how foreign the States seem right now. For the passed two years I have lived in Guayaquil and visited Tucson only once for a bit more than a month. Since 2008 I have spent nearly 3 years abroad

I don't think age will be too big an issue for you. If nothing else you will all have a common ground in dance, and I suspect your dance history may be a bit more interesting than most student's. And if it's not, then you'll be in class with a bunch of interesting people...so that's a win-win. Either way, I'm excited you're back in Tucson again! I've no doubts that this step in your life will be as memorable and fulfilling as the previous was.
