What's going on in my life

Still watching Criminal Minds, actually re-watching is more the case. Reading fic has made me realize I choose pairings based on who I like best. Does everyone do it that way or am I weird?

Printed out the first season of Shadow Unit, if I could put down fic I might actually read it. I am still on the first episode ( Read more... )

Mad skills, loves his tech (which no one appreciates) and funny too. I like the three of them but he jumped out as my favourite right from the pilot.

I choose pairings exactly the same way. And I also notice that I have a type, certain character types that appeal to me more than other types. Usually the smart/misunderstood/socially awkward type paired with the nice guy with a darkness/angst/some issue type. I really don't want to know what that says about me.

I haven't had Diet Coke in so long but replaced it with morning coffee. Found it was harder to fake enthusiasm without the hit of caffeine.

Same type with the pairing choices. Pretty much all are like that, well maybe not Scully. Wait I need to turn those pairing characteristics around She was darkness/angst/some issue and he was smart/misunderstood/socially awkward... no maybe it doesn't work in their case.

I am on a schedule. I can have one between 10-11am (usually I was on my fourth by then. one at 1pm and one when I get home. Hoping to become a social drinker in time ;).

You try to start you day with enthusiasm fake or otherwise ? I stopped doing that years ago I save my enthusiasm for 4pm. 2 1/2 hpurs to go. \o/ :)

Mulder/Scully would have been a starter pairing for me. We could consider it a type work in progress since one half of the equation fits.

Friday night, one of the channels was doing a marathon of random Criminal Minds episodes and I was able to catch three or four. I think I could let myself get sucked into that one (so in need of a new show.) I tried out The Mentalist, which I enjoyed but didn't feel anything for any pairing choices.

That isn't too bad of a coke schedule. You'll be down to lunch and evening in no time. :) As for the fake enthusiasm, that might be overstating it a tad... more like general basic interest in my job.
