Oh, yes! I most certainly do. It came out in the early 70s when I was in college, and was among the first of the original fantasy novels (as opposed to reprints) that Ballantine put out.

Loved it. There was a sequel a few years later, but I didn't care for it as much.

Yes, exactly! I loved this book, found the much-later sequel to be lacking that spark.

Never read the book, but I can spot a Frank Frazetta painting a mile away!
