well it depends what you are interested in - if you are into the occult and aleister crowley and stuff then you must go to visit the abbey of thelema in cefalu in the west ... if you are not then there are a lot of better things to see ;-) climbing up onto mount etna (one of the two big volcanoes in italy and still active) might be quite interesting (though it it high!! but it is cool and probably snow covered ;-) ) otherwise - sicily is cover in historic monuments reflecting it's colourful history with influences ranging from greek / roman / germanic / byzantine / arab / german / spanish / italian sorry i can't give you more specific details as i havn't actually ben that far south ...
