Anyone seen Volver?

Just watched it in my World Cinema class and I don't quite know what to make of it. Penelope's clevage should win an oscar all of its own, it was rather impressive.

Maybe after Bad Education I was expecting...another Bad Education? I adore that film in all it's kooky ways and I just wanted something less...fluffy? But the colours

I saw Volver....twice in 3 days..and bought the DVD afterwards. I loved it sfm! oh well, it's very different from "La mala educacion" -which I loved to pieces (oh Gael!!!) but yeah, i think I loved every single Almòdovar movie so, I'm biased.
I ADORE "Estrella morente", the song Penelope pretends to sing with those mariachis or what they are. Oh man, i've listened to it for HOURS after the movie <3333

I liked it, don't get me wrong! I loved the colours which were just amazing. The things he can do with colours totally astounds me. I'm in love with a lot of Almodovar as well and I got extremely pumped when we weredoing a week on Spanish cinema in class.

The song gave me these crazy goosebumps all the way through. I could listen to it for hours as well!
