[The feed begins on Dev hunched up, it can be assumed he's in a corner. Sweat is glistening on his forehead and is shaking heavily. The Sirens woke him up, but it was the voices of the dead in the static on the television that got to him. But hearing that name: Silent Hill, the name was different in his world but the game's concept was still the ( Read more... )

[Yes, he sounds like a crazy man. But he knows he's not the only one who'd have heard of it - right?]

In my world, there is a story of sorts that describes a place like this...I know it sounds damned weird.

[He's still jittery, though if Marly understood the gravity of this situation he would be as well.]

Honestly? Events stopped being "damned weird" a long time ago. I think I will make of it what I can.

I suppose...look just be sure you don't make too much noise and avoid shining light where the demons or creatures are. They'll come for you and they aren't like the ghosts in Jigoku - they're the product of a single person's wish for everyone in this town to suffer for what they did to her.

[He doesn't reply to the insult. The kid's talking out of his arse. Dev looks at the feed and cocks an eyebrow, face red.]

Your God cannot save you here. When you understand the situation fully instead of relying on your god to think for you - then you'll truely understand why we're all fucked.

You will be especially.

Um, no. You're stupid and a baby. A big, fat crybaby! Hahahaa!

I don't know about you, but I'm going to go kick the Devil's ass. Just make sure you don't wet yourself before I do.

[he shrugs]

Whatever kid. If you need sanctity during the sirens go to the church, they'll welcome you gladly there.

[He's only really properly payed attention to the movie rendition of the story, in contrast to Mika's knowledge of the games. But what he does know is he's condemned the Teutonic order to suffer with the damned.]

I think you've got your medias mixed up. This is not that one. This one? Is by far the worse of the two.

We're still screwed, though.

I only ever heard one version of it, I flat out refused to watch Delia play the games after I saw the movie...

[He shakes his head]

Wait this one is worse?

The movie was okay, but it didn't nearly come close to scratching the surface of how messed up things really were in the town. They changed a ton of stuff to make it more acceptable for audiences who weren't fans of the game.

Yeah. Basically, at least.

Sweet Abyss...[He groans and straightens himself out rubbing his head.]

Right...well I'd best get arming myself. I'm going to try and work out some place that's safer than the hotel...

[A pause then raises his index finger as though he's realised something]

Which area in the games is this one? If we establish that much we can work out where the 'safe' points are right?
