Welcome to the Mensa AU Fic Exchange #2!
Yes, we're back! We had such great fun with this exchange last year that we decided to bring it back.
The rules are basically the same as last year, so if you were around at the time, you already know how this goes. (Last year's rules and results, in case you weren't around.) Nonetheless, please read the short but hopefully informative rules bit below and then make your requests in a comment to this post. You can also post any questions here or email the mods at mensaverse@gmail.com.
Sign-ups are open until Sunday 2nd March at midnight GMT. (When is this?). Assignments will be out by Thursday 6th March at the latest.
Stories are due on or before Monday 21st April (minimum word count: 1,000 words). You should submit them by sending them to mensaverse@gmail.com. Please note that if you have trouble with the deadline, we may be able to grant an extension, but you'll still be expected to submit your unfinished story on the 21st. If you fail to do so, we'll have to assume you've dropped out and assign a pinch-hitter. (You'll find more info about submitting your story in your assignment email; please read it carefully.)
Stories will be posted anonymously to the community by the mods from 22nd to 28th April with a poll for readers to guess the writer (multiple choice, nice and easy!). The masterlist will be posted on May 1st with the writers named, and particpants will be free to post to their own journals/sites from then on.
As with the community itself, all stories should contain at least one Mensa AU character. Stories requested may be gen or contain a pairing, and all participants must make three requests.
