Can cups cause cramps?

A couple of years ago I bought my first cup to try. Mostly for swimming since my parents got a new pool. I’ve always been a pad user since my first mensuration basically due to my mom being unable to use tampons. Plus TSS is scary right

I have had horrible cramps from my cup when it's not in right. If it's pressing against my cervix instead of sitting around it ()0 vs (0) then the pain is pretty immediate. If you're not noticing leaking I'd guess that it could be something with the way the cup is sitting around your cervix, maybe at that 3-4 day mark your cervix is higher/lower/doing something where the cup is touching it in a way that causes pain?
