Re-inserting after stuck?

Hi all, I had a very eventful morning this morning and had to go to the doctors to remove my cup. My vagina is quite sore (understandably) but I want to use it again. ATM I'm using a pad but I'm wondering when I should try again? I want to do it again so I don't scare my body/mind away from it.

Hello Sophie! First of all, how long have you been using the cup you mentioned? It's very important to use the right size. However, since you said it got stuck it must mean that it has a good sealing ability, and once you get used to the process it should seal without leaking. As for whenever you should put it back on, let your body tell you. If the next days you don't feel sore perhaps it would be relatively safe to try again. It would be best to ask a doctor that knows about the use of cups to give you an opinion. The first time I used a cup I was 17 and my parents didn't know about it. It got stuck in me while in the bathroom, and after a bit of searching it was recommended to me to squat and then try to remove it again. It worked. In case things don't go as planned, just do this and be patient, it will probably work out. Also, try to break the seal before removing it, it will be much easier and pain - free this way. Generally it can't be lost, it is there but every cup has a different learning curve. It's a brave thing to want to ( ... )
