So it has been a VERY long time since I've posted here. A lot has changed in the last 10 years since my first posting of trying to get my menstral cup in and failing because of the pain of getting it in and out. I'll give a run-down

I found the small Lunette would press up against my cervix, rather than fitting over it. So you might consider something with a wider opening, whether that's a larger size or something that has more a V shape than a bell shape.

Right now I'm loving the Ruby.
