I am 16 and recently got a menstrual cup in size small (it is from the brand saalt, if that matters) and I’ve tried for like an hour today to get it in! I’m so tired! If you're finding it's popping open too soon, you could try rinsing it in as hot of water you can stand right before you try again. It should make it more flexible and easier to keep folded. Also experiment with different fold techniques; I usually use the extreme 7 fold but I've done punch-down and origami fold too. Good luck! It takes a while to get a system that works so don't give up.

Thank you for the response! I’ll try that out cuz right now keeping my cup folded exhausts my hand 😅

No problem. I hope you can make it work. Finding a fold that works for you will really be key. As is just going slow and being patient with yourself.

It sounds like you would benefit from either a teen cup or a softer cup. If you have a target neer you i recomend the saalt brand. They have a teen size cup in two color options and they sell a salt soft cup (make sure the box says saalt soft cup not just saalt cup) the u he soft only comes in small and regular size not teen size so mabey try the teen one first :)
