I've used both, and never noticed any difference. Trinessa is the generic of Orthotricyclen. I've heard some people report differences between the generic and brand name of birth control pills, but theoretically, they're supposed to be the same, and I've found them to be identical.

the problem with googling is that people dont generally post positive stories because...um...it works.

so you're _far_ more likely to read about complaints and problems and stories of woe.

ignore those - no one can predict how you will react to the trinessa, for all you know it might be the Bestest Thing Ever!!! and you might love it :)

(just bear in mind that your period might do odd things while you're getting used to the trinessa. also, there's always here or birthcontrol.)

good luck!
