I've been thinking a lot lately, what's the true point of being in a relationship if in the end everyone knows it will go no where.

We do it because we don't want to be alone. Plus... There is always that chance that this one person could turn out to be the one we were meant to be with... Personally it seems like the one I think is perfect never sees me the same. At least not until after the fact or something like that. It really sucks sometimes, but that's why we can't give up.
