Not sure what font you used, but for me it looks like a lot of squares with a lil picture at the bottom.

... whose browser doesn't handle a generic 'serif' font?

I didn't know it couldn't handle it! Then again, my terminal at work sucks.

I haven't had any reports of problems with the fonts so far, this is why this puzzled me. If you have a fairly standard browser, and you're really interested, try to disable style-sheets temporarily, or find an option like:

'Use standard settings and ignore whatever that webtwink is trying to do to me'

Haha, now that's a vacation! I'll have to try to do that someday over in Yosemite (not that they don't get enough casualties from idiots, but you know).
There was something else I was going to comment on, but I had to read a few more pages and alas, I have forgotten what I was going to say... but ah well. Glad you had fun and still got pushed in that comfort zone *grin*
