Booze does reduce physical and mental pain. I can see how people can get hooked on it. It works wonders.

Going away for the weekend with work. I hope it'll be nice. I think it will be. I think there is a good chance for some "quality time" so I also hope I can avoid making a complete fool of myself.

She dropped by. She hasn't for quite some time, and for reasons I can understand and definitely respect. But it's nice when she does. I have missed her.

I am back at my home office now. Instead of earning money to my company, I am now costing money. However, I don't feel guilty about it. This is a natural second step to surviving yet another year.
