first part of mom's chemo was today (just the R from the R-CHOP.) she had weird shivery spasms all over her body. they had to stop the treatment for a while until everything settled down. she's feeling OK, if really tired tonight, so i guess it wasn't that bad

the nice thing about chemo (ha) is that its predictable. My mom referred to hers as the A dose and the B dose. Each had different reactions. So eventually you will figure out how she reacts to each and be able to help her deal with it better or at least prepare for it. My mom had phases where she was really physically sick and others where she was just tired and cranky.

the stuff she had yesterday actually made her feel good. it wasn't acutally chemo though. she was a chatter box this morning...weird.

the one today...i'm afraid we're going to be in aches and pains and barf land. ugh. we'll see. they keep saying they'll give her something to prevent the nausea, but i don't believe them.

oddly, they're supposed to be giving the two treatments together next time, so she may be chatty and barfing. whee!
