It's been YEARS lol since I have updated this journal, but anyone who is still on my friends list and still frequents here... are blinkies still a big thing? I am curious because as a pixel artist I am always wondering if people are using pixels they find for their blinkies??? mainly cause I dont want my copy written artwork stolen.. or I would at

Blinkies are still around, but not the way they used to be. It's more about having to pay anywhere from $0.50 to nearly $3 or $4 for a measly maker to slap on the pixel font. Really no creativity as it used to be

well thanks anon.. I haven't made blinkies in years. I moved on to making dolls, then to making pixel art of my own, fractals and vector art, and now I do a little bit of everything. I still actually have every single file I ever used to make blinkies with though, and every order I ever filled. I check here sometimes because know some of the makers steal legit pixels by hard working artists like myself and others. I can admit a lot of the pixels I used were from Korean sites and they are much less uptight about using their work.. but it's still sad to hear that these makers aren't using the medium to help themselves into making legitimate art of their own.
