A year ago today I left Freiburg. I can't believe it's already been a year...

A week from today I will be moving back home. The summer has gone by so quickly...

Michelle's visit was a lot of fun. It was nice having someone here to do things with. We basically got to hang out for 4 days after not having seen each other in nearly a year. We picked up right where we left off, and it was great! I was very sad to see her go ( Read more... )

Got back last night from my short visit to Ohio. It was nice seeing the family. They always go out of their way to show me a nice time-so sweet of them. I went wine tasting in Amish Country and got a little snookered at the Holiday Inn bar (where my cousin and I were hit on by more than one local missing some teeth, lol). I hate having to rely on people, and I never want to be dependent on anyone. I got the rent check yesterday...technically she'll still owe me for cable next month, but, at this point, I think I'll just absorb the cost myself so I won't have to deal with all of this again. OK, people at work have pushed me very close to my breaking point. I mean, it is freaking retail-things shouldn't be this complicated, this stressful, this annoying. I made it. I survived these last four years and have a diploma to prove it. I also managed to survive a very LONG day with my family. Props to me, and major props to my friends who also graduated this May. We are awesome :)

Heard (briefly) from the b/f yesterday. I am happy he is OK-I was worried. I really missed him :(
