I know how it is about being able to understand a language but not speak it. I'm guessing they would talk to you in Ilocano and you would respond in English?

Speaking of ODing, this entry reminds me of a 'hell naw' moment on my radio. You know that crap music from Houston (screw), well I was listening to the radio late Sunday night (quiet storm hours) and heard Musiq- Don't Change and then Vandross chopped & screwed. ..I don't even get it.

black eyed peas does alot of things for the filipino culture. at my college they had a filipino show, and it was some msuic video black eyed peas did, but never aired because of the reality and truth about filipino culture. it was a deep video. alot of filipino actors and singers was in it liek Chad from Neptunes, the other guy i forget his name.

one of their members is half filipino so i would hope they would do something. i've heard about that video they made, i believe it's for 'the apl song' out of their last album. i've heard that song before, but haven't seen the video.

i got that album and i was trippin' but to hear they got it on the air, WOW! my mom heard it and she knows tagalog & couldn't stop laughing.

yeah, my brother had the song and played it for me. and then a month later i hear it on the air and was like, "AHAHA.. WHAT THE HELL?!" i never thought it would ever make it on the air.
