lol, agreed ... in addition to being a shoddy excuse for actual human interaction, it makes you less where you are. be where you at, with who you with, yo. (i actually meant to say "be where you are" but i typed "at" so i just went with it)
I agree. Most of my English class is devoted towards arguing the gains versus the losses due to different technologies, and cell phones come up a lot.
I personally feel useless and impotent without my cell phone. The funny thing is that I know I didn't always have one, but whenever I don't have it or it's not working (like right now... when I can recieve calls and texts but can't send or call) I feel as though I'm missing out.
Again, I can't speak for everyone, but I try to use complete sentences as often as possible while texting, and even on AIM.
NEVERTHELESS. You make some valid points that I think people need to be aware of.
