i'm really bummed. someone on my friends list whose lj i thoroughly enjoyed reading has deleted her journal and i have no idea why or if she started a new one. i guess it does happen in this lj world, probably more often than i think ( Read more... )

p and i have some of the same lj friends (whom we've never met) and we'll sometimes discuss their posts or their lives - as if they were an actual part of ours.

..O and I do this quite a bit :O) It's always funny to kind of step outside of our conversation and listen to that. These people we feel we know, yet we refer to them by theit LJ names. Every so often we're not even sure how to pronounce the LJ name, and then it feels kind of silly- but like you said, LJ friends are still friends in some respects, and they affect us.

it's neat to consider the impact of this tool on life as we know it. but the changes are so subtle, it's awhile before we realize them. ...if we even do.

btw, your lj is one of those i would miss. we often seem to be on similar pages, so you feed me with much needed humor or insight on those days when i need it. thanks.

yep, i think you mad a good point that folks don't know what you appreciate unless you let them know and comment.

i apply that to life in general, so why not on lj?

See, I do the same thing to you...I'll read something and ponder on it for a while before I reply, or I'll think about it and not reply until I get home to talk to you.

So it probably does look like I'm not reading your journal, but I do, and appreciate seeing it there VERY much.

Even though I see you every day, your journal would be missed dearly.
