the shuttle landed successfully on my birthday. that's good news all around.

declanmcmanus greeted me this morning with a delicious breakfast of crepes filled with a grilled wild caught salmon (caught by p's brother-in-law in alaska), cream cheese and chives spread, sliced apples and deep, dark, rich espresso

i'm on hiatus. ...extended. a long string of events and projects have kept me away from my home computer. i haven't even been doing much of a job keeping up with personal email. change of job, new house, new town and career in limbo. there's so much i want to be "doing" and i have a way of wandering away from any social life i have to do it. i am a hermit underneath it all. but nothing is ever permanent with me. i'll be back in time ...with lots to say and wanting to catch up with everyone. i'm sure there'll be lots of changes to sort through when that happens, though.
