Disgust.

I cannot express my disgust for the way our culture handles the coverage of celebrity. Dan O'Bannon died. He wrote Alien, a movie that was equally successful as it was influential in the history of film. Alien redefined an entire genre. I don't think one death should be dismissed because another one has. Just have to come to terms with the fact that the mainstream focuses more on the surface and not the substance. She still has a family and loved ones who are now facing one of the greatest tragedies we have to deal with as people. It's a shame O'Bannon is not getting the fanfare he deserves, but it would do more service to make his name and legacy known rather than talk down the other death to prove that point. Ew, ha, I sound like a parent.

i really enjoy your bluntness.

As for O'Bannon, he wrote one of my favorite scripts, LIFEFORCE. Space vampires!
