I've pretty much given up posting stuff at Fanfic too, you know. All I ever get is like, two, maybe three TINY reviews, mostly saying how much the person likes the story. Which, you know, I'm not complaining about, but more constructive would be nicer too.

RE: creative writing classes - alas, though we learn a lot from them, an annoyingly gigantic part is trying to follow what the tutors say, no matter how much you don't want to. The markers at my uni do not like fantasy genre stuff, and thus, I cannot put much of it in my portfolio. It sucks!
