Sheer whinge

Mar 29, 2012 20:49

Is not actually very interesting for other people to read. So I deleted it. But *comprehensive whinge*. 80% of which will probably be cured by not being up most of tonight with a spectacularly vomiting child.

boring, childcare, not fun, work, bad food, failing to save the world, whinges, children, parenting, sleep, il (sic), domesticity, body-falling-to-bits, fretting, i need more sleep

This, although I sometimes keep the winge as a private post for just me :)

Thank you, I know. That's one of the reasons I decided I would post some bare facts, but without all the tedious detail of the whinge.

I got *some* sleep. Not as much as I hoped, but better than the previous night. Things seem about 60% better with only occasional outbreaks of 'I can't cope!', mostly only when I have just whacked my head on the iron bedbase.

Much appreciated! I hate middle-of-the-night dealing with vomit. It's all so complicated and difficult when you are only half awake.

Tell me about it! (we had a very similar explosion the night before last)

Sorry for all that. Hope you get to find out if that 80% thing's true. .

60%, I reckon (not brilliant sleep, but better).

It's hard to save the world when you've been up all night.

Very true. I should cut myself some slack. Although the deadlines on the 'trying to save the world' stuff don't go away just because I can't meet them, alas.

Much sympathy, and hope things improve forthwith.

Thank you. Improving, but not yet quite as one might ideally hope (see next post).
