He arrived in the ER a little over an hour and a half ago, in critical condition. He is still presently unconscious, and in acute stages of liver failure. He arrived severely dehydrated, has not had access to his medications in four days- this has set him back in progressively bad shape. We have done what we can to stabilize him, but I believe he will need another blood transfusion within 24 hours.
Our transplant physician is seeing him presently, and I plan to have him listed expediently. I can only utilize my talents to keep the organ functional for so much longer, before there are further complications. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.
