++ What song are you currently addicted to?
black tables by other lives. heard it at the end of covert affairs this past week and bitch has been in my head in loops.
also, creep by scala. it's in the preview to the social network and fuck I love radiohead's version but when you get a kid's choir to sing it, it's like crack to me. chills down my spine every time.
++ What's your favorite season?
winter. unpopular opinion right here I'm sure. but I love being cold, wrapped up in blankets. I love the hot cocoa and the snow. it's my favorite time on campus. I only wished it snowed more in ohio. I miss alaska like whoa sometimes.
++ What’s the latest movie you watched?
robin hood: men in tights....definitely one of my fav Mel Brooks movies along with Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein. I also watched 2012 yesterday (longest disaster movie EVER).
++ what did you fall asleep to last night? music/tv/etc
an assembly such as this by pamela aidan. I'm reading her series again. if you love Pride and Prejudice and you haven't read this series, get on that STAT!
++What’s your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
community. I don't know why I wasn't watching this before. I adore all the characters and totally ship Jeff/Britta. I'm only 6 episodes in, but am definitely watching more tomorrow. true blood is also a current obsession. it's my guilty pleasure. just finished all the books, and I multi-ship, but eric/sookie are my favorite. in the books, I even like some bill/sookie, but on the show thank you but no.
++ What's your favorite musical instrument?
piano and cello. I used to play piano, but gave it up awhile ago. I want to learn how to play the guitar though.
++ What Web sites do you always visit when you go online?
LJ, tumblr, fanforum, and entertainment weekly
++What was the last thing you bought?
pretty sure it was food. I wish it was something more exciting.
++ If you won 10,000 bucks today, what would you do with it?
save it for vet school. i'm gonna need it.
++ Most awesome book ever?
god this is hard. pride and prejudice is always a given for me. i've read it more than any other book in my life. but I also have a soft spot for harry potter and the deathly hallows. I don't think there has ever been a book in my life that has made me cry as hard as that one did. it was the end of an era for me, and quite literally the ending of my childhood since it came out the summer before I went to college. spending ten years with characters can really make you bond with them lol.
++ What's the last thing that made you happy?
to be honest I try to find something every day that makes me happy. for instance today, I was happy watching community. yesterday, I was happy watching merlin with my sister. The fringe promo coming out a few days ago made me ecstatic.
but the last thing that made me really happy was seeing all my cousins and aunts and uncles last weekend at my grandpa's memorial service for the first time since I was five. I have some pretty awesome (and tall) relatives, and I never even knew it. and then last sunday I went to see Wicked with the family which was just amazing. we had some of the best seats too.
++ Something or somebody you miss right now?
I definitely miss my best friend Alysha. She is in Sweden for her study abroad until January. We live together and hang out all the time, so it's going to be an adjustment next year without her. I also miss Fringe; it's sort of crazy how much.
++ Five things you can’t live without.
1) ipod (which is sadly dead, so i need to get a new one but i have no money) 2) laptop 3) music fo sho; it's my life blood 4) my family; i'm trying to go to vet school closer to home because i miss them all the time when i'm away 5) tv (sad, but true)
