Am so damn proud of it. Actually, I was damn proud of the last pic that was ripped open again and again by ruthless [but helpful] concrit. Last one that also went through ruthless crits was my most praised piece, "In the Counsel of the King", was it...

Usually they are also finished with a battered confidence, but somehow just a few nice comments can make it all worth it.

I don't think the OP will notice my 2nd fill, cos it's titled obscurely because in the end I didn't know whether it was really filling the prompt or not anymore. Art fills are difficult like this *shot*, but the two comments, esp the 2nd one, made hours and hours of self confidence shattering crit worth it.

the fic Author!Anon was pure genious. I'm especially amazed at how many other "countries" *de-lurked* themselves in the comments, as well as the actual author!anon telling everyone her other fills, and the self control! the meta-ness of that fic is... wow. The true author!anon cannot respond to everyone's appreciation, and also has to be in character while responding to other "countries"s' comments, and find ways to intergrate things that happened in the comments to the main story.

in the way, many of the comments left by 'countries' are part of the fic itself.

speaking of hetalia kink meme... nah, I still don't want to read the "financial crisis gang bang" strip that has gotten SO BLOODY MANY response reqs.

the main reason that caused me to mention that fic was because of Canada's passive aggressive-ness and his abuse of white-outed words though... I should read up on how to do those in comments, it'd be useful.

su-san is definite the ex-boyfriend that still wants to be on good terms with Tino. though there's blurriness in some bits of history; did Su-san really treat Tino as badly as Tino remembered it, or is Tino just too bitter and feeling inadequate about it, or is present day Su-san wanting better relationship with Tino and thus saying, Tino you're remembering it wrong, we didn't treat you THAT bad.

either way Su-san's wanting to be on good terms with Tino, who's way too Tsunde in this situation.
