There's some meme going around, and I usually hate memes, but this one isn't bad and I haven't posted in decades so am using the opportunity to do so.
This is one of the many pictures I took of Nine Inch Nails over the course of about 6 weeks of going around the country to their shows. This is one of their most iconic songs, "Reptile," and one of

Trust me, I completely understand the sadness of not feeling compelled to watch the shows. I still feel obligated to, but it likely won't last. =P
Oh, and jealous of your guitar playing. Soooo wish I had that skill!

Isn't it weird to feel that way about the shows? I feel guilty about it. But it's not like they know. I just lost something somewhere and I don't know what or when. I think it started after I went to that benefit thing with the Christmas party. It was fun and I enjoyed myself but ... Stephen was kind of not what I expected at it. Anyway it annoyed me somewhat, not so much at the time, but more later on. And I just got busy with other things that have more opportunity for me than watching a show ever will. All things must end, right? Some take longer than others, some don't end until you die, but they all eventually end.
Re guitar, well you can do it too! Just take some lessons. I am sure you would be great at it!

Well, TDS I've fallen away from for obvious reasons. I always have it on, but am usually struggling to pay attention when I have my laptop infront of me. TCR I won't ever fully fall away from, but I kinda felt like there's a distance between me and it. After being so close to the show for a while, and now not be...
It's like TDS and TCR are 2 ex-boyfriends, one was a bad breakup and the other one wasn't.

And they're friends with each other! Which makes it all the harder.
If you practice guitar enough your fingers will bend. I thought the same thing. You have to develop the muscle memory. Not that I think it's easy because it's not, but practicing regularly really does work.

That's kind of sad about not watching Jon and Stephen any more, but I kind of understand. I deliberately stopped watching TDS a couple of months before the election and discovered that I really didn't miss it. TCR I'm still watching religiously, but whether or not that continues will depend on the direction the show takes with the new administration. I'm not nearly as addicted to either the show or Stephen as I was for the first year or so I watched it.
I have no porn, money, booze, whatever to send you, but I'll add you on Facebook. :-P

That Guild might be worth a lot of money. They age very well. I looked at one from the 40s recently and it sounded incredible and was selling for more than $1,000.
I did watch Jon last night for about 15 minutes and laughed quite a lot, but I just don't have time for it every night. I hardly watch TV at all anyway. And an hour a day just sitting there is a waste to me. But I missed it a lot, while I was watching. Then I turned it off and forgot about it.
