My parents did that awhile ago too. At first I was like, "Uh, are you guys dying or something?" But I think they just get tired of holding on to all that crap.

Heh, exactly. :) I got some of my yearbooks, 35 mm movie trailers, a lot of vintage magazines, and a bunch of stuff I didn't need! ;)
