As for your debt, if you haven't already done so, take advantage of some of the 0% balance transfers that new credit cards offer (just as long as you don't actually use the new card to make purchases--use them just for the balance transfer). You can pay off your debt a lot quicker that way. I had about $10,000 in debt in June of 2006 and I would have had it paid off by last month had I not bought a car (I paid $1,000, D paid $350). It set me back a bit but I should have all debt paid by this coming March or April.
