it just occured to me that tomorrow is September the 11th...

isn't it funny that one year two builings fall, a few hundred die, and our nation binds togather and is all "I'm proud to be an American" crap....

yet a hurricane comes and does more damage to one city than has ever been done to any american property, thousands die..... and the only ( Read more... )

Well four years ago (was it that long??) there was an enemy to rally against...here, you can't really get people to rally against nature.

No, we bound togather because we realized that though we're america... we're still quite vulnerable to any destructive force. Just like 9/11 we should support one another as Americans. So what if it's mother nature? It should not take a human enemy for us to realize how lucky we are.
